Entrance

The restaurant has a chalkboard like this one that we would like to set out front and write a message like "Sarah and Angel's Wedding" ------->

Card Box

Picture
My mom actually found this at Target. We had been looking for a box we could use for cards and just cut a hole in the top because we didn't want to pay even $30 for a box just to hold cards. This was $10. Angel is supposed to cut a hole in the top towards one end and then we will just write "Cards" on the little tag.

Linens

Picture
I don't like silver linens so I chose to go with this light champagne color for the chair covers and napkins. I think it will look nice with the colorful floral centerpieces.

Cocktail napkins

I ordered some of these to put at the bar from the Knot. They were about $17 for 100 napkins. The cake baker is going to put the "C" from this napkin on top of our cake.

Cake inspiration

Picture
I wish my cake could look exactly like this, that would be awesome! But I'm not rich and can't afford a 5-tier fondant cake. Besides, the cake comes with our package with the hotel.

Ours will be 4 tiers (one made of styrofoam to help add some height), will be buttercream in the same colors, and will include all the designs except the stenciled design (2nd from bottom).

It's going to sit on a silver cake stand and I think I'm going to have a navy blue tablecloth.

Favors

I plan on setting 1or 2 Ferrero Rocher chocolates on each person's napkin.

Dances

Entrance- LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem"
1st dance- NYSNC "This I Promise You" (believe me, I know it's cheesy, but we actually think it's a really pretty song and very fitting)
Father-daughter dance- Heartland "I Loved Her First" (only song I tear up to when I listen, and I don't even really like country music)
Mother-son dance- Shinedown's acoustic version of "Simple Man"
Cake cutting- don't really plan on playing a special song unless the DJ plays one in the background of their choice
Bouquet/garter- DJ's choice, I don't really care enough to look for a "special" one for these
